Tiger Trailers (Winsford, Cheshire) is a leading UK manufacturer of lorry trailers and rigid bodywork (seen on the back of shorter home delivery trucks, for example) since 2014, and our factory is the most modern. Our business also has Finance, Parts and Rentals office departments to it. We employ around 200 in the factory and 75 in office roles, and our turnover is now over £90 million. NEW APPRENTICESHIP FOR 2025
Maintenance and Operations Engineering Technician
In September 2025, Tiger Trailers welcomed 20 apprentices into our factory to begin a 3-year qualification to become a ‘Maintenance and Operations Engineering Technician’, which falls under the wider qualification of ‘Manufacturing in the Automotive Sector’. An apprenticeship scheme provides us with the ideal opportunity to develop and nurture new talent, building on our current highly skilled workforce, to meet future business needs. This is a significant investment for the business and an exciting opportunity for us to partner with Manchester College and Total People, who share our passion for developing young people.
