Your day-to-day responsibilities will revolve around providing an efficient and professional administrative support for the Technical Support Manager. During this role you will gain a knowledge of how the business works, working with operations associated with the manufacture and approval of vehicles and releases of vehicles.

Fleet Maintenance Controller

An exciting opportunity has arisen for an enthusiastic and reliable person to join our Tiger Rentals team as a Maintenance Controller on a 1 year fixed term contract. Your day-to-day responsibilities will revolve be managing the maintenance and planning of our customer fleet and our own rental fleet. You will be responsible for minimising breakdown response times by utilising all available resources to deliver scheduled maintenance in line with the fixed maintenance plan and reducing cost wherever possible by using low-cost proficient maintenance providers is key to the role.

Quality Technician (Day Shift)

Reporting to the PDI Manager your key responsibilities will be to ensure all Tiger products are completed to specification and up to the highest quality standard.

Coachbuilder (Day Shift)

Reporting to the Management Team you will be working in either our specialist bodybuilding team or on a production line. You will be responsible for assisting in producing a finished trailer or vehicle body to a high level of quality. You will be working with various materials including hardwoods, fibreglass, steel and aluminium. A high level of skill is required to perform various tasks including assembly of parts, drilling, cutting, riveting, welding and grinding. 

Onsite Maintenance Engineer

A great opportunity has risen based in Bedford for an Onsite Maintenance Engineer, which the day to day responsibilities will revolve around servicing and the repair of Tiger Lift Pods and double decks based full time on customer site.

Alan Cartwright was one of the most respected coach and commercial vehicle bodybuilders in the UK transport industry. In recognition of Alan’s achievements – in particular the hard work and determination he showed when building the family business – John and Steven, alongside their mother Joyce and sister Alison, set up The Alan Cartwright Foundation and The Alan Cartwright Apprenticeship Awards. Each year, the latter recognises Tiger's top-performing apprentices.
