at Tiger Trailers in Cheshire

Design Engineer

You will be responsible for managing new contracts from the agreed job description requirements, through the design stages to the point of issuing design drawings. Once the project reaches the production stage, you will support the manufacturing departments to ensure a smooth and effective completion of the build. For new product design and ongoing product improvement, you will be contributing towards the design activities as part of cross functional design teams in order to continually upgrade and improve the range of standard product designs.


Auto Electrician

You will be responsible for installing and commissioning of 12V & 24V electrical systems on trailers and vehicle bodies. Candidates must have experience with lighting, battery, motor and PLC circuits and have previous experience with fault finding and diagnostics. Good manual skills and experience with crimping and soldering tools are key, with the ability to read from circuit drawings.

Ranging from £30,300.00 - £35,300.00pa, overtime available


Skilled Quality Technician

You will be responsible for finalising and carrying out the final inspection on our range of HGV trailers and vehicle bodies. Your 30-100 point inspection will ensure the final product meets regulations, type approval, customer specification and Tiger quality standards.

Ranging from £30,300.00 - £32,800.00pa, overtime available


Hydraulic Fitter

You will be responsible for the installation and commissioning of Hydraulic components and hose fitment. Candidates must have knowledge of hydraulic principles, an understanding of hydraulic circuit diagrams and have experience with fault finding. As well as having an installation background the candidate should also have general maintenance experience and be able to follow test procedures and processes.

Welder

You will responsible for welding assemblies to a high level of quality. You will be able to read and understand technical drawings and specification sheets and be able to identify weld symbols. You will be responsible for carrying out precision measurements and accurately marking out. You must be able to select the correct materials and be skilled in cutting materials by burning, disc cutting or by machine.

Coachbuilder

You will be working in either our specialist bodybuilding team or on a production line. You will be responsible for assisting in producing a finished trailer or vehicle body to a high level of quality. You will be working with various materials including hardwoods, fibreglass, steel and aluminium and working from technical drawings. A high level of skill is required to perform various tasks including assembly of parts, drilling, cutting, riveting, welding and grinding.
