Working Hours:

DAYS: Your hours of work will be 7.30am to 4.30pm Monday - Friday (with a 30-minute unpaid lunch each day) with a 3.30pm finish on a Friday.

NIGHTS: Your hours of work will be 7.45pm to 6.00am Monday – Thursday and (with a 30 minute unpaid lunch each day).

 Key Objectives

You will be responsible for assisting in producing a finished trailer or vehicle body to a high level of quality. You will be working with various materials including hardwoods, fiberglass, steel, and aluminum and working from technical drawings. A high level of skill is required to perform various tasks including assembly of parts, drilling, cutting, riveting, welding, and grinding. 

 Responsibilities Include:

 ·       Following technical drawings and specification sheets

·       Must be able to work individually or as part of a team to meet production targets.

·       Following clear instructions from team members and senior colleagues

·       Adherence to health and safety rules and regulations

·       Maintaining production area housekeeping

·       Minimize waste by using/disposing of raw materials and consumable items efficiently

·       always Maintaining a safe working environment   

 The company requires all employees to adopt a flexible approach to work and you will be required from time to time to perform other duties. We will ensure that you will be adequately trained to carry out these tasks.

 Key skills and experience

This role is ideally suited to a hands on, organised, proactive and self-motivated individual. Suitable candidates will have: 

·         Demonstrable manufacturing experience ideally in commercial vehicle bodywork or trailer manufacturing

·         High quality assembly experience of specified materials such as hardwoods, fiberglass, steel, and aluminum

·         Demonstrate skillset using various hand tools.

·         Reading and working from drawings

·         Ability to ensure production target output and quality is maintained.
