Manchester-headquartered Cardinal is one of the fastest-growing logistics operators not just in the UK but also on the global stage, with twenty-two offices around the world from Hong Kong to South Africa and Australia – and has welcomed a number of Tiger trailers to its domestic fleet.
Finished in the haulier’s Ultramarine Blue livery, its new Tiger-built curtainsider trailers are EN 12642 XL rated, with galvanised chassis, a Haldex braking system, SAF axles, an Aspoeck electrical system and 100% traceable Mesta Wood non-slip flooring from sustainable Finnish forests that meets ISO1496 and enables the transport of paper products.
Like Tiger Trailers, themed branding is also part of Cardinal Maritime’s image and spirit. Their captain and crew have an ethos of solution-finding and entrepreneurialism underpinned by cutting-edge technology, a fun working environment and strong cultures and values, including nurture, ambition, resourcefulness and dependability.
From its roots in Eccles in 1998 to its new HQ in Sharston, Manchester, Cardinal Maritime is, like Tiger Trailers, proud to originate from the north west of the UK. With the strapline ‘The logistics people’, its fleet of semi trailers and rigid trucks ultimately serves over 6,000 clients and 500 ports around the globe.
Tiger Trailers’ new customer, Cardinal Maritime, is looked after by Thomas Stott, technical sales manager, who comments: “It’s exciting to welcome new customers on board and particularly ones as passionate as Cardinal Maritime, who are so enthusiastic, committed and keen to be the best they can in all aspects. We were delighted when Cardinal tweeted about how pleased they are with their new curtainsiders from Tiger. We thank them for their business and look forward to supporting them as they continue to grow fast.”
