Tiger Trailers has formally confirmed that it will exhibit at 2024’s Cold Chain Hub show, staged by TCS&D Magazine’s events arm and which this year runs on October 9th and 10th, at the NEC in Birmingham, a move which sees the show relocate from its previous place within the ITT Hub at Farnborough.
Stand D10 is where visitors will find Tiger Trailers at Cold Chain Hub 2024, where the leading manufacturer of articulated trailers and rigid truck bodywork will be showcasing the 18t refrigerated rigid solution that it launched in 2023, custom-engineered for a dairy’s 3PL milk contract, and will be unveiling an all-new product representing a first for the UK temperature-controlled transport sector.
“Since launching our temperature-controlled range of trailers in 2020, demand for these Tiger products has increased exponentially, such as seen through a 200+ strong order for a nationwide dairy’s operations. In 2023, Tiger introduced its first refrigerated rigid bodywork solution, and at Cold Chain Hub 2024 we will be unveiling another very special product to our lineup, which will be positioned in pride of place on our stand alongside a rigid. With temperature-controlled products representing a significant growth area for Tiger, it was an easy decision to exhibit at TCS&D’s latest show, and we look forward to welcoming visitors to stand D10” – Darren Holland, Tiger Trailers’ Sales Director
This year marks the first time since 1981 that this established event – supported by the Road Haulage Association and organised by the team behind TCS&D magazine, the UK’s leading publication for the temperature-controlled supply chain – will be held at the NEC, and the focus for 2024 will be on sustainability. Two conferences at the show will focus on refrigerated transport and on cold storage respectively. TCS&D’s annual awards ceremony and dinner will be held on the evening of October 9th at the National Motorcycle Museum, with the pre-dinner drinks reception sponsored by Dawsongroup Truck and Trailer, and the main awards sponsored by Sunswap. Tiger Trailers is sponsoring the TCS&D Award for Livery of the Year.
Tiger Trailers has manufactured reefer trailers since 2020 in conjunction with Lecitrailer of Spain, and has since then delivered over 300 temperature-controlled vehicles to end users including 3PLs, food companies and dairies, from FreshLinc and Moy Park to Iceland, Tesco and XPO Arla. The company will be releasing its latest publication at Cold Chain Hub 2024 in the form of a brochure dedicated to its refrigerated products, which include twin and tri-axle semi-trailers in urban and longer LST guises, alongside rigid truck bodywork solutions from 3.5t home delivery vehicles up to 28-tonne iterations.
