The festive spirit was in full swing on Christmas Jumper Day 2021 at Tiger Trailers’ factory in Cheshire, with a good number of #TeamTiger donning their finest Christmas jumpers all in the name of raising funds for a great local cause, with a good icing of fun thrown in too.
With jumper designs ranging from snowmen, reindeer and tigers to Disney and other movie-inspired efforts, joined by Santa and elf costumes, and with jumper wearers getting involved throughout Tiger Trailers’ offices and factory, including the company’s production manager and director, Christmas Jumper Day 2021 was a colourful day to remember and brightened up the rainy weather outside nicely.
Cheshire Buddies benefitted from #TeamTiger’s knitwear parade, as the company raised over £400 for the charity which supports disabled children to gain new experiences, to be active, to meet friends and to be a part of their community. Founded in 2004, Cheshire Buddies’ 4 staff members and 24 volunteers help over 150 disabled children and provide short breaks for parents/carers and supporting siblings through activity clubs, holiday clubs and residential breaks.
Louise Bailey from Cheshire Buddies comments: “A huge thank you to all the staff at Tiger Trailers for their generosity, supporting Cheshire Buddies with a raffle and Christmas jumper day! Amazing people, amazing company! We can’t wait to come and see you in the New Year.”
Tiger Trailers proudly supports charitable and other causes in its local county of Cheshire, having become a member of the Cheshire Community Foundation’s Cheshire 100 in summer 2021, launched the Tiger Safety Team school programme in the autumn, and provided the first of a planned programme of support to a number of non-profit organisations, such as building a brand new Santa sleigh for the town’s Rotary club.
Alison Cartwright, Corporate Social Responsibility Manager at Tiger Trailers, comments: “We’re so pleased that we could help support the fantastic work Cheshire Buddies does, by raising funds through our Christmas Jumper Day involvement and raffle this year. It was great to have Louise join us on the day and we’re excited about the other Cheshire Buddies projects we’ve got planned in 2022.”
