This month saw the first step taken in the phased roll-out of Tiger Trailers’ employee wellbeing, mental health and engagement programmes, in the form of the symbolically small (albeit large-scale in decal-fitting term) transformation of the expansive wall that greets #TeamTiger members and other visitors on entering the firm’s state-of-the-art HGV trailer factory in Cheshire.
In corporate orange and black, the sizeable messaging elements added to the wall are focussed on thanking the manufacturer’s people for the important roles they play, from the production line supervisors and operatives, PDI team and FLT drivers, to stores people, the catering team and those behind keeping Tiger Trailers’ factory clean and tidy, which is frequently commented on by visitors.
“In addition to communicating the directors’ appreciation to every single member of #TeamTiger, the new wall decals also aim to encourage an ever-growing culture of thanks between colleagues, along with a continually strengthening team spirit”, comments the company’s HR Officer, Abigail Lee.
This unmissably visual debut step is the first phase of more to come as Tiger Trailers’ HR, H&S and other teams implement various initiatives and projects aimed at providing for and boosting colleagues’ wellbeing, mental health and engagement at a time that could arguably be described as unique, with the world having evolved and come through the Covid-19 pandemic.
The firm recognises that necessary measures such as furloughing, working from home and adapted shift patterns will have affected certain people in differing ways, and the appreciation of their commitment is one of the drivers behind the manufacturer’s colleague-focussed initiatives.
From its foundation seven years ago, relocation to a purpose-built facility in late 2018, and adaptation through the last eighteen challenging months in global terms, Tiger Trailers has secured its position as one of the UK’s leading HGV trailer and rigid bodywork manufacturers.
It has also launched the Tiger Finance and Tiger Rentals divisions, along with the Siberian range of temperature-controlled products in association with production partners Lecitrailer over in Spain.
All these milestones have been made possible through the hard work of every member of #TeamTiger, to whom thanks is extended, and they are documented in the new 2021 edition of Tiger’s corporate book, which will shortly be made available on the website.
Tiger Trailers’ new factory wall design was shared exclusively on the company’s LinkedIn page, where information on the forthcoming next steps will be published as and when they are incrementally introduced.
