What’s your background?
I have worked in the road transport industry for 22 years so far, having previously managed hospitality and various other areas of sales and customer service at Cartwright in Altrincham for 20 years before joining Tiger. During my career I have unsurprisingly developed extensive contacts and relationships across the transport sector,
What do you like doing outside work?
My family means everything to me and I spend much of my free time with my grandson, my husband, my daughter, my son, and the family dog. We like to travel as much as possible and experience new places and cultures, here in the UK and also abroad. I enjoy a good TV series, too. My mother isn’t well so I also spend a lot of time visiting her each week.
What do you like about working at Tiger?
The people and the facilities. Being very much a people person, I love engaging with a wide range of different people each day, from those I knew from Cartwright,
through to Tiger’s more recent team members, along with a constantly growing list of new customers, suppliers and partners including charities we support. The people and the facilities. Got any pets?
An adorable tan cocker spaniel We welcomed him into the family as a puppy and he’s huge now!
What is your main life achievement?
My wonderful family first and foremost, but I’m also proud of my career in road transport and manufacturing.
Tell us an interesting or funny fact about yourself!
My friends all call me Judith Chalmers (she’s the TV presenter who fronted the holiday show ‘Wish You Were Here…?’), because of my love for and knowledge of travel.
