Working Supervisor // Factory shop floor team, PDI
What is your role at Tiger and what do you like?
Since joining Tiger seven years ago, I have progressed from starting as a production operator, to joining the PDI team, working up from a team leader to becoming a PDI working supervisor. I enjoy seeing the finished product, from a trailer chassis coming into the factory, to it eventually working through PDI and then leaving the factory, complete. The rates of pay at Tiger and the overtime incentives are attractive, and the people are all easy to get along with.
Tell us about your background…
Before Tiger, I was going from job to job with various agencies, so I didn’t have any career progression opportunities, because I was never at one place for long enough.
What is your main life achievement?
My main achievement in life is becoming a father to my two children, both boys, and raising them with my partner in Winsford where our families are from.
What do you like doing outside work?
I like spending time with my family when I’m not in work, taking them to after school activities and indoor play centres at weekends. I also enjoy playing football when I have the opportunity, and I’m interested in cars.
