Tiger was established in 2014 by John and Steven Cartwright, founders and Joint Managing Directors, along with David Williams as Chairman. Between them, they possess a vast knowledge of the motor transport industry.
Both John and Steven worked from school age in the family business, S Cartwright and Sons Ltd, for more than 30 years before founding Tiger Trailers. David worked as Managing Director at TDG for 24 years ahead of founding Great Bear Distribution in 1994, which he subsequently sold in 2016. John and Steven’s father Alan was a good friend of David’s and supplied the first Cartwright trailers to Great Bear Distribution.
‘Tiger 1’, our first home (2014-2018)
Working together over the last 7 years as the shareholders of the business, John, Steven and David have grown Tiger into what is now a circa £50m per annum turnover business, supplying blue chip companies in the parcel, retail and logistics sectors.
